Rosacea is a common inherited facial skin condition characterized by redness, flushing, and dilated blood vessels. Sometimes, patients with rosacea develop enlarged nasal tissue (rhinophyma), bumps, pimples, and eye dryness.
Unfortunately, rosacea cannot be cured -- but we can help manage the discomfort, as well as the unwanted redness and pimples. We often use a combination of over-the-counter redness reducers, topical prescription medications, sometimes oral prescriptions, and laser therapy as well! Picking the right skin care products is also very important. We can help guide you in these decisions.
